BMW F8X M2/M3/M4 Dual Mount Differential Support Bracket/Brace

The Circuit Werks Billet Aluminum Dual Mount Rear Differential Bracket eliminates this driveline deflection by enabling the use of a second rear subframe bushing. Engineered to replace the factory single-mount plate, this upgrade locks the differential in place for maximum stability, crisper throttle response, and more direct power transfer to the ground.

With the F80 M3, F82/F83 M4, and F87 M2 making serious power straight out of the box, it’s no surprise these chassis are staples at track days and performance tuning shops worldwide. However, high torque outputs quickly reveal a major weak point in the factory rear suspension geometry: the rear differential mounting setup.

Despite designing the tubular rear subframe with dual mounting provisions, BMW implemented only a single rear offset bushing to secure the diff bracket. This single mount creates a pivot point under heavy acceleration and hard shifting, leading to excessive differential movement, aggressive wheel hop, and premature bushing failure.
